What can the tiki boat be used for?

Besides relaxing with a cold drink we can pretty much book anything you can imagine. From bachelorette and bachelor party’s, company functions, birthday party’s, weddings, family gatherings, kids parties and swim stops … you name it and we will try to make it work.

Are there available life jackets on board?

Yes, there is a Transport Canada certified PFD for every passenger on board. Along with all Transport Canada safety regulated requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

can Pets Come on the boat?

Yes! Dogs are allowed on our boats. Make sure to let us know in advance if you plan on bringing your dog.

Who is my captain?

All our Captains have been vetted and trained thru Transport Canada Small Vessel Operator Proficiency & Medical  Emergency Duties  (MED3) training requirements. 

All captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the area.

Should I tip my captain?

Our captains work hard to make sure your Tiki Tour is as enjoyable as possible. Tips are greatly appreciated!

How fast does the tiki boat go?

The tiki boat has a cruising speed at around 6 to 8 knots per hour (11-14km/hr)

What about restrooms?

Yes Our Tiki Boat has a restroom on board.

What are your cancellation and inclement weather policies?

Bookings are non-refundable within 10 days of booked tour date. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical, guest behavioral issues, excessive alcohol consumption or any abuse of our staff. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time*.

*This excludes behavioral, abuse and alcohol related cancellations.

Can more than 12 people cruise at the same time?

Transport Canada regulations for our Tiki Boat is 12 people plus crew.... this includes children... NO EXCEPTIONS!  For larger groups, you may rent our Pontiki as well and cruise together. We are NOT permitted to tether together while cruising, however if anchored on a swim stop we may tether together for larger groups (over 12 persons).

Are children allowed?

YES Children are allowed.  We don’t want them to miss out cruising on the Tiki Boat. Children under the age of 12 are required to wear a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own certified life jacket (recommended).  Please let us know if you plan to bring children so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets.

Do your boats operate in the rain?

We do operate in the rain as the Tiki Boats are covered. However, the captain can decide for safety reasons at anytime to cancel the tour due to weather conditions.

Can i play my own music on board?

Yes, we do have Bluetooth speaker systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music.

Do you provide food and drink?

We provide a cooler with ice and water. We do not serve any food or other drinks, however you may bring any snacks, food, or alcoholic beverages.

Group reservations?

Yes we can accommodate larger groups. Our Tiki Boat can accommodate 12 passengers while our Pontiki Boat can accommodate 9 passengers so we can cruise together with both boats. Please make your reservations together under the same name so we know both groups are together or feel free to call us to make your reservation.

Cleaning Fees

Cleaning of our vehicles is included in your tour cost, however we expect our vehicles to be left in a reasonable state at the end of your tour. If excessive cleaning is required due to the behavior of your group, an additional cleaning fee of up to $500 may be charged.

Are Cruise Routes Subject To Change?

Yes, all routes are subject to change due to weather or current conditions, docking, or captains' discretion.

How long is the tour?

​2-4 hours, or more depending on the tour your group has chosen.

Where Do We Park & How DO We Find The Boat?

Our office is located at at 1350 Water Street, Kelowna

Our Tours leave from the Tiki Time Tours & Lakefront Sports private dock in front of the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort

Please arrive 15 minutes early to meet your captain and a brief safety meeting

Paid parking is available throughout Downtown Kelowna, with a large parkade (Library Plaza Parkade) located nearby, accessed via Doyle Ave & Ellis Street.

Or leave the driving to us, If you need transportation please book our Tiki Time Tour Bus and avoid the driving and parking hustle, we can pick you up and drive you back in our fun bus tour. *Additional fees apply
